1. How do I organise my race week?

You have 5 options that have varying benefits and experiences.

A) Warm up your partner/parents/buddy with enthusiasm for Tour 2017. Explain how it will be early starts each day and free afternoons to explore parts of New Zealand normally undiscovered and flown over. Using your own vehicle, your entry fee includes Tour Tshirt, Tour highlights on DVD and afternoon tea at prizegiving. You have the option of shared accommodation for eight nights (meals not included) and can book you into the hotels/motels with other competitors along with our Race Crew.

B) Need to Book your Support Crew Accommodation? - NOW FULL NO MORE BOOKING BEING TAKEN
Your support crew will want to overnight with you and they will enjoy the same discounted rates as you. Eight nights shared room $600.00. It is important to book your support Crew when you enter if you wish to guarantee their accommodation.

C) Hire a van (about $55 per day with ACE Rentals) and team up with 4 others plus support/driver. ACE Rental cars operate out of Auckland, Christchurch, Blenheim, Auckland and Wellington. Ace vehicles don't have tow bars but can have roof racks added at a small cost. All vehicles can be dropped off in Wellington if needed. Go to ACE Rentals to obtain your quote for the Tour, contact ph 0800 502 277. Rates vary with South Island rates higher than North Island.

D)Adventure South offers a fully comprehensive support package that includes all transfers on tour (with custom bike trailers for safe transport of your bike), 9 nights accommodation on a twin share basis (single rooms available on request), fully qualified guide, and snacks/fruit while on the bike. Max group size 16 people. Accommodation has been selected to give you a comfortable stay at the end of a hard days riding, along with the ability to self cater. The guide and vehicle will be accessible during the day to provide personal service, carry your extra clothing, your snacks and pick you up if you get tired. E) NOW FULL - NO MORE BOOKINGS BEING TAKEN If a big comfortable Pavlovich coach amongst 30 other riders cruising from stage finish to stage start each day, getting to know international riders on the journey sounds perfect, our Race Host will help you. The driver will give you all the details and answer all your questions and all you will have to do is arrive at Auckland, Christchurch or Queenstown Airport and Pavlovich Host driver will care for you for the next 8 days. You can sit back and enjoy the glorious views between race stages and you will be delivered to your overnight hotel amongst a bunch of new friends. This option including Race Entry package, Accommodation and coach travel $1600 excludes your ferry ticket. Non riding supporter $1000. Please note the coach will pick the NI riders up in Auckland on Friday morning 31 March for the five hour trip to Kaitaia

BlueBridge Ferry - Discount rates 2017

We anticipate to have the bikes at Springs Junction before the buses. There will be adequate time for riders to prepare their bikes before the start of the race at 9.30 (depending on travel and weather conditions)
