Sandi Wooldridge - individual

Entry #211

North Island race course selected
Open, North Island "Nothing is impossible to the willing mind!"

About me

A new challenge awaits me - cycling the length of the North Island over the course of eight days (starting on Saturday 2nd April), with a group of enthusiasts each on their own journey.

I'm looking forward to riding not only with my good friend and partner in crime Liz, but also with other like minded individuals and teams.

The biggest potential challenge for me is riding for eight days in a row over some considerable distances - I might need a cushion to sit on by the end of it. :-)

My inspiration comes from participating in something I've never done before, but also in riding for those who are willing, but unable to due to their own physical limitations that they face on a daily basis.

In addition to this I am also riding for the charity of St Johns, who are there for each and every person in New Zealand, no matter what their colour, creed, gender or race. There are not many people I know who have not been touched in some way by this amazing organisation, whether it be personally, through a relative or friend ..... I have witnessed close up the amazing work that this group does. Please feel free to donate to this very worthy charity.

Chosen charity

St John

St John is a charity, and we need your support to help us care for people every day. Has a member of your family ever needed care from a St John paramedic? Maybe you have used your St John first aid kit to treat an injured friend? Right across New Zealand, St John is there for people when they are in need. We provide Ambulance Services to most New Zealanders - including your community. The donations we receive will be used to help New Zealanders - maybe even you or someone you know.

Sponsor this rider

Your sponsorship of Sandi Wooldridge will support St John. All donations of $5 or more are tax deductible. All sponsors will be able to leave a message of support.

Please Note: After completing your donation on paypal you may need to click a button (view screenshot) to return to the Tour site and leave a message of support.
